Frozen Waterfall

Time strips color

from stymied eyes

as memories collide

swirling within

the teetering sigh

of a thoughtless sky.

I spent a life waiting,

forcing flavor from

a savory moon unaware

that what awaited

was only her.

                      That’s her…

Golden green peering

through me with

lens so laconically

clear and curving

instigating the steam

of breaths from

a waterfall of fire.

She owned me

in moments where

time stands and

the senses fail.
